Raintime

The vivid colours were disappearing, grey seeping and spiking the horizon. An equal measure of mists drifted dim down over the mountains and near perpendicular strikes of rain were falling far out at sea. Rehearsed soliloquies of water bedded themselves in the soil by precise delivery according to ancient syntax of temperature, pressure and altitude. 

If it is not raining today then it will rain tomorrow, somewhere.
